Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Findy lets you collect, organize, and revisit content you save across the web and connected platforms, and (optionally) capture saves via a browser extension. Features may change over time. Access is currently by invitation during our private beta.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: break the law; infringe others' rights; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; use it to store or distribute unlawful content; or abuse connected-platform APIs in violation of their terms.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the bookmarks and content you save. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save and store the content you add.
6. Connected platforms
When you connect a third-party account, you authorize us to access it via its API on your behalf. Your use of those platforms is governed by their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or changes to their APIs.
7. Subscriptions and billing
- The Service may offer paid Basic, Advanced, and Pro subscriptions.
- Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout.
- You can cancel anytime via the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
- If a payment fails, access to paid features may continue during a short retry period and will then revert until a plan is restored.
- Downgrading does not delete your data, but lower plan limits may apply.
- We may change prices with prior notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting hello@findy.so. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for operational, legal, or security reasons. Certain provisions survive termination.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that saved content or third-party syncs will always be available.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, or USD $100.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted at findy.so/terms with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of Ireland.
